Canners Sweep a Pair on the Track |

For the first time this season, both the boys and girls track team were victorious, sweeping their dual meet versus Hanover. The Lady Canner won impressively, 112-37, while the boys topped the Nighthawks 93-53. |

Bermudian ruled the field, but the Canners compensated on the track in 81-69 win.

To beat the Bermudian Springs girls' track team, opponents usually have to put forth a rather herculean effort.
The reason is Lady Eagle seniors Georgia Williams -- the defending PIAA Class AA and District 3 pole vault champion -- and Rachael Kotula -- the defending titleholder in the shot put and javelin in District 3 -- usually run amok in the field.

Sophomore phenom Bree Grim picked up where she left off at the end of last season, finishing in fifth place in the 800 meter run at the Pan Ram Invitational Saturday. Grim ran a season best time of 2:29.73. |
